Prof. Rico Lam is the Registrar of the University of Macau and Professor of Management. After graduating from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, he earned his M.B.A. at Michigan State University and his Ph.D. in management at the University of Oregon. At the Faculty of Business Administration, Rico was the Associate Dean, Head of Department of Management and Marketing, Founding Chair of the Faculty Graduate Studies Committee, and MBA Coordinator. Rico has also served in the organizing committee of the World Business Ethics Forum series co-organized by Hong Kong Baptist University and the University of Macau. Rico is currently doing research on felt trust, workplace incivility, proactive behaviors, and dirty work. His research has appeared or been accepted for publication in the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Human Relations, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Business Research, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, and Journal of Business Ethics, etc. His work on trust and dirty work was also published in the Handbook of Chinese Organizational Behavior in 2012. Rico is currently Senior Editor of the Asia Pacific Journal of Management, and member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Managerial Psychology, Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Trust Research and Editorial Board of the Frontiers of Business Research in China. Rico was Vice President of the Asia Academy of Management during 2013-15.
In Macau, Rico has provided executive training, consulting service and professional presentation for Venetian Macau, MGM Macau, American Chamber of Commerce in Macau, “Direcção dos Serviços de Correios e Telecomunicações (Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau)”, “Direcção dos Serviços do Ensino Superior (Higher Education Bureau)” China Tourism Group Company, Limited, and China Travel Service (Holdings) Hong Kong Limited. Rico has been interviewed by the South China Morning Post, TDM Macau, Macau Business Daily, and Jornal Tribuna de Macau for his opinion on Macau’s labor market, tourism, and luxury goods consumption. He was also moderator for the GAME 2014 Gaming in Asia – Managing for Excellence and the Four Places of Cross-Straits Social Enterprise Summit organized by the Fuhong Society of Macau in 2017.
林朗為教授，澳門大學教務長及工商管理學院管理學教授。畢業於香港中文大學後，先後於美國密芝根州立大學獲工商管理學碩士及於美國俄立岡州大學獲企業管理哲學博士。林教授曾任工商管理學院副院長、管理和市場學系主任、學院研究生課程委員會創會主席及工商管理學碩士課程主任。他曾參與由香港浸會大學及澳門大學合辦的世界商業倫理論壇的組織委員會工作。林教授目前從事的研究領域涉及：信任感、情緒工作需求、積極主動的行為以及骯髒工作等。他曾經發表過文章的期刊有：《Journal of Applied Psychology》、《Journal of Management》、《Human Relations》、《Journal of Organizational Behavior》、《Journal of Vocational Behavior》、《Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology》、《Leadership Quarterly》、《Journal of Business Research》、《Asia Pacific Journal of Management》、《Journal of Business Ethics》等。林教授在“信任”和 “骯髒工作”中的研究還收錄在2012《中國組織行為手冊》當中。其目前還擔任《Asia Pacific Journal of Management》高級主編、《Journal of Managerial Psychology》編輯顧問委員會、《Journal of Trust Research》的編輯審查委員會成員以及《中國工商管理研究前沿》的編輯委員會成員。曾於2013-2015年間任亞洲管理學會副主席。
